Revitalization of the Siemens piezo pile consists in its treatment with a current signal with an appropriate profile. It is an innovation on a global scale, and the profile itself was developed in laboratory conditions.
With the operation of the Siemens - VDO - Continental injector, short circuits occur between the micro layers of the piezoelectric stack of the injector. The result is a reduction in injection doses and a greater delay in the injector response. Pile revitalization removes short circuits between the layers, thanks to which the entire stack lengthens again by a similar value as in a functional injector. If the injector has no mechanical damage, revitalization will most likely improve it. The piezo stack shaping process is carried out on the Carbon Zapp CRU2R device for Common Rail Siemens VDO Continental injectors. The process itself also brings positive results in new and used injectors that have been on the shelf for a long time and as a result have completely discharged.
